Getting Around

There are many ways to get around Phuket

Local Bus

There is a bus system that runs all over the island. There is one bus every half hour passing by, outside of Shanti on the main road going to either Kata Beach or Phuket Town
The busses are blue trucks with lots of shiny chrome, canvas roof cover and wooden bench seats. There are very inexpensive (Approx 20bt per ride). Buses run from 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Taxi Service

We can organise a private taxi to any destination on the island. Please ask front desk to book for you at least one hour before departure.

Rental Car or Motorbike

Having your own vehicle gives you the freedom to explore the island at your own leisure and pace.

Car rental comes with full insurance and unlimited mileage. Seat Belts are now the LAW. If you are planning to fly out of Phuket using a car based at the aiport is a good idea s you can self drive to the airport to drop it off.

Motorbikes have 3rd party insurance only. Helmets are the LAW.
